About This Section

Coastal Vanity Notes covers bath remodeling in Riverside, CA, in the level of detail a homeowner needs before spending money on it.

Independence

The site is editorial rather than commercial. It describes how work is done and what it costs, and takes no position on who should do it.

Scope

This section does one trade in one market, and leaves the rest alone. A page trying to address every trade in every city ends up saying nothing specific about any of them, and specifics are the only part worth reading.

Editorial Approach

The writing aims at the parts of a job a homeowner can reasonably influence. Technique belongs to the contractor, so it is covered only where a homeowner's choice depends on it.

Limits

Guides describe the general case. It is background, meant to make the conversation with a contractor a more informed one.
